Words of Comfort
Have you ever met someone who didn't like Morgan Freeman? I admit that the warm and fuzzy feelings his smooth-as-flowing-caramel voice stirs in me wobbled ever so slightly when I was forced to sit through Thick as Thieves (Never heard of it? It's better that way). However, I think most people find Morgan Freeman's voice as comforting as a cup of hot chocolate on a wintry night. Or a home cooked meal after a long day's work.
My favourite cartoon of all time captures all of Morgan's mellifluous Powers of Comfort so perfectly, I challenge you to not hear his voice in perfect pitch, tone and tenor while you read it.

His best character has to be The Boss in Lucky Number Slevin. The first time you meet him in the movie, as he walks down the stairs delivering a riddling dialogue of intrigue has to be one of the best scenes ever captured on film. One that I had to replay the first time I saw it, the first time I've ever repeated a scene even though I had caught all the dialogue the first time round. It was the delivery that had to be repeated.
Too funny!
Ms Curious - I never tire of it!
klevafela - okay, I've never heard of that movie, but your compelling description makes me want to go and down... err, rent it straight away ;) Thanks for the rec.
